María del Rosario Marín Muñoz

Profesora Titular de Universidad

I have been an Associate Professor of Applied Economics since 2013, after having been a Research Fellow at the MEC from 2004 to 2008 and an Associate Professor at a University School from 2009 to 2013. My research work, conducted in the Department of General Economics at the University of Cádiz, has focused on innovation economics, technological change, and the study of Family Policy.

Regarding the dissemination of my research activity, I have published 9 articles indexed in specialized journals in my field, with 6 of them in international journals. Out of the 9 articles, four publications are included in the JCR (Journal Science Citation Index), one of them in the third quartile in the Economics category, the second in the first quartile in the Information Science category, the third in the fourth quartile of the Economy and Business category, and the fourth in the third quartile in the Social Sciences General category. There is a fifth article published in 2005 in the journal Innovation, Management, Policy & Practice, which has been included in the JCR since 2009 in the fourth quartile in the Management category. The three Spanish articles are in indexed Spanish journals (DICE, IN-RECS, etc.), two of them located in the third quartile in the IN-RECS database, whose quality indicators have been reinforced by various citing publications. The third one is in the fourth quartile of the IN-RECS database. Additionally, a book chapter published by the publishing service of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and a book published by the University Center for Social Studies and the University of Cádiz are also included.

The dissemination of my research activity is complemented by the presentation of fifteen papers at the main national and international conferences in my field, which have been published, as well as participation in the presentation of additional papers at conferences and workshops organized within the UCA. This research activity was recognized by the Department of Innovation, Science, and Enterprise of the Andalusian Regional Government with a regional complement award in the Evaluation of Regional Complements call.

The development of this research work has been contributed by participation in research groups SEJ-313 (Globalization and territorial dynamics, from 1997 to 1998) and SEJ-295 (Innovation Economics and Transport, from 2000 to the present), as well as participation from December 2001 to the present, uninterruptedly, in Research Projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the Department of Innovation, Science, and Enterprise.

In R&D management, since August 3, 2009, I have held the position of Campus Director of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Jerez Campus, a statutory individual position. This position is currently active, and I am fully integrated into the Dean’s team of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, where I carry out all the management activities of the campus headquarters at the Jerez campus, with the necessary coordination tasks between the three headquarters of the faculty at the University of Cádiz, to implement and develop the Degree in Business Administration and Management that started at the University of Cádiz in the academic year 2009/10.
